Jacob DePottey says goodbye

Jacob DePottey, reporter
With senior year coming to an end, I am excited to move on with my life. High school has been quite the experience for me — an experience that certainly helped me become who I am today. Between the homework and social events, these past four years have flown by. The various classes I enrolled in during my high school career have really helped me prepare for college, like calculus and economics.
I believe journalism helped me prepare the most, though, by helping me become a self-directed worker and honing my writing skills for future essays. I will miss high school, but college will be quite the learning experience and help me morph into an adult.
I will miss The Eclipse, and I wish good luck to its future reporters.
