The boys basketball team defeated Owosso 51-37 at home Tuesday, Feb. 28, to finish its regular season with 10-10 record.

Leading the way for Kearsley was senior Chandler Ford with 21 points.

Ford was satisfied with how the team ended the regular season.

“We finished the season on a high note, and we are looking to come out strong in our district game,” Ford said.

Junior Devyn Sredich contributed nine points and Senior Darrion Younger had eight.

Kearsley begins play in its MHSAA district Monday, March 6, when the Hornets host Saginaw.
